Martin Services

Units of Government

Martin is governed by a Board of Mayor and Aldermen, the members of which are elected to four-year terms. The office of Mayor is a full-time administrative position.

Laws enacted by the Board are in the form of "ordinances," which, after adoption, are periodically incorporated into the City Ordinances.

City services are provided by the following departments:
